Building on Elysium

Elysium is a standard EVM chain. Solidity and Vyper compile unchanged, and Foundry, Hardhat, viem, ethers, and standard JSON-RPC all work exactly as they do on any Arbitrum Orbit chain. Deploying is forge create or hardhat deploy against your Alchemy RPC URL.

Testnet is live. See Connecting to Elysium for the chain ID, RPC endpoints, and explorer, and to add Elysium to your wallet.

No required custom interfaces

Elysium launches on stock, off-the-shelf ArbOS, so the EVM baseline follows the deployed ArbOS version.

Nothing Elysium-specific is required to deploy or run a contract. The Elysium-specific surfaces are opt-in capabilities:

• the HyperCore market-data precompile, for reading live HyperCore state;
• the ElysiumCoreWriter predeploy, for trading on HyperCore from Elysium.

Both arrive through an ArbOS network upgrade about four weeks after mainnet.

Contracts

WHYPE and USDC are the canonical tokens; look-alike tokens exist, so check the address before you integrate one. Contract addresses lists them with Multicall3, the gateway router, and the bridge contracts.

Verifying contracts

Verify a contract’s source on the explorer’s Verify contract page, which also gives the Foundry and Hardhat settings to verify from your own tools.
